MISSING by EVERYTHING BUT THE GIRL, rearranged in a rock version, is the single taken from “Memo – love chronicles” (Zetafactory/Venus),a concept album by the band from Parma, Italy, who lately played at Heineken Jammin’ Festival.
Ben Watt, EBTG’s guitarist and composer, states about the song: “Impressive cover version, I like the balance between dance mood and full throttle rock!”
Not a real cover but a played with attitude brand new interpretation that fits perfectly
Lena’s Baedream rock style.
“Missing” is an essential thematic piece of the album.
Paraphrasing Plato’s motto, “Love is the craftsman of all things”, Lena’s Baedream plot ten unpublished tracks of rock contaminations, facing love in all of its forms and declinations (friendship, sex, symbiosis and morbid attachment). A portrait of relationships various dynamics that go from fragments of life, messages, instants and frames. “Memo – love chronicles” mastering has been committed to Marcussen Studio of L.A. (CA), known to have been working for famous artists such as AC/DC, Rolling Stones, Deftones, Incubus and many more.
The album has been released by Zetafactory, meanwhile UK label RAINBOOT is working for a worldwide digital release and is organizing a small tour in Great Britain.
For what concerns Germany and Austria, the full length distribution and the live shows organization are up to ARSEN, a German label, recording studio and booking agency.
In the beginning of January 2011 Lena’s Baedream are leaving for U.S.
On March 2010 LENA’S BAEDREAM were already playing on several stages in Italy, including the Heineken Jammin’ Festival one as winners of a contest promoted by ROCKTV. |
